National Taxi started its Abu Dhabi operations as the sleek new silver taxis hit the streets today. TransAD is the single regulatory authority in the hire car sector will replace the existing taxis with new series equipped with advanced facilites. Seven companies have been authorised to run 7147 taxis in the emirate out of which 70% of cars will be in Abu Dhabi city, 29% in Al Ain and the remaining in Western Region. About National Taxi
National Taxi was the first taxi company in the Middle East providing computer-generated receipts to the customers, which indicate the car number, fare, date, and time. This will serve as customer reference if they left or lost something inside the taxi.
